Before Your Appointment
New patients can pre-register online or call the clinic. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early for a first visit so our team members can verify insurance, gather your health history and set up your Baptist OneCare MyChart account. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card and a list of current medications and dosages.
During Your Visit
A nurse or medical assistant checks your vitals, reviews your reason for the visit and updates your electronic health record. Dr. Parsons then meets with you to review your history, discuss any symptoms, perform an exam and go over test results or referrals. For an annual physical, expect a full exam with age-appropriate screening, cardiovascular check and, when ordered, lab work.
After Your Visit
You leave with a written care plan, prescriptions and follow-up guidance. Between visits you can view notes, request refills and message your care team through Baptist OneCare MyChart.
