Our providers are accepting new patients. If you are looking for primary care doctors accepting new patients, medical doctors accepting new patients or primary doctors accepting new patients in the Starkville area, we welcome your call.

Before Your Appointment

New patients can pre-register online or call the clinic. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early for a first visit so our team members can verify insurance, gather your health history and set up your Baptist OneCare MyChart account. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card and a list of current medications and dosages.

During Your Visit

A nurse or medical assistant checks your vitals, reviews your reason for the visit and updates your electronic health record. Your primary care provider then meets with you to review your history, discuss any symptoms, perform an exam and go over test results or referrals. For an annual physical exam, expect a full physical exam with age-appropriate screening, cardiovascular check, and — when ordered — annual physical exam blood tests for cholesterol, glucose, kidney function and other markers.

After Your Visit

Your provider gives you a written care plan, prescriptions and follow-up guidance. You can view visit notes, lab results, refill prescriptions and message your care team through Baptist OneCare MyChart.
